  • Do I need to be fit to try BJJ?

This is very common misconception that you have to be fit to start BJJ! Whilst BJJ is (in our opinion) the best workout there is, you can go at your own pace at Stafford Grappling Club in our beginner friendly environment.

  • Why Stafford Grappling Club?

    That's a really good question!

At Stafford Grappling Club, we pride ourselves at having a safe, enjoyable training environment for BJJ in Stafford. We've got a great mix of all level practitioners, and we all look after each other in a safe and fun training environment.

We take a slightly different approach to BJJ training in that we'll focus on a particular set of moves or a position for 4-6 weeks and we find that helps everyone get plenty of reps in, drilling the moves, learning and getting the knowledge to stick.

We certainly appreciate that we were all once a beginner and making that walk onto the mats for the first time can be quite nervewracking and with our Free Training Offer of 4 weeks, you'll get plenty of time to decide if it's the new hobby for you.
